Manon Collot from the Maison Rose pottery

Manon Collot has been a potter for over 20 years, and she founded the Maison Rose pottery in Prayssac. I’ve been following her work for some time, and I wanted to write an article about her and her work for La Vie Quercynoise, to coincide with her summer events with the workshops she organises for adults and children.
I wasn’t mistaken: Manon is warm, radiant, and passionate, and her workshop-boutique is magnificent. Don’t hesitate to leave the center of Prayssac to visit the Niaudon area and discover her work or learn about pottery. She practices exclusively with stoneware, loves the surprises of the glazes she creates, and enjoys fulfilling commissions to allow her clients to have a custom piece as much as creating real or imaginary animals through modeling. She speaks of her practice with simplicity and precision; I was drinking in her words!

Thank you, Manon, for your time.
