MLP Weekly #46: the Lot under the snow

It had been years since the Lot had seen its snowy landscapes. I took the road towards Souillac the day after the snowfall, thinking that it had melted quickly and that the roads would be clear. But, once past Uzech-les-Oules, the landscape became magical, and the snow depth was much greater than expected. I couldn’t resist the urge to stop numerous times to immortalize the valleys and forests of Lot under the snow and the sun.

Demonstration against pension reform

In the Lot also the demonstration against the pension reform was very well attended. This is the first time that I have seen so many people on Boulevard Gambetta in Cahors to make the voice of the people heard, despite the rain.

Many unionists claimed, but also people of all ages, from the private, public, non-unionized.
