MLP Weekly #52 : Transhumance in Luzech

Like every year, the sheep leave Rocamadour to arrive in their new pasture in Luzech: it is transhumance, a moment of sharing, of conviviality, where the public is invited to accompany the flock and its shepherds.

Arriving in Luzech, the sheep stay for a while on the canal square for the pleasure of young and old. I take the opportunity to shoot the stars of the day, and one of them with a cute little black head attracts my attention.

Horses and donkeys parade for carriage rides. The atmosphere is good-natured, and the sun appeared just for the event.
